Agenda for inaugural diabetes specialist nurse event set

An established diabetes panel and top healthcare experts will form part of the exciting agenda for the first Diabetes Specialist Nurse (DSN) Forum meeting, organisers have announced.

Entitled ‘DSN Forum Live: A Conference by Specialists for Specialists’, the event will be held on Friday, October 13, at the Mary Ward House Conference Centre in London.

The agenda covers subjects such as cardio-renal-metabolic management, technology updates and how to tackle diabetes inequalities.

This conference aims to:

·      Improve awareness of the management and treatment of people with diabetes

·      Improve knowledge and understanding of the issues people face living with diabetes, such as menopause and sexual activity

·      Increase awareness of new technology and therapies

·      Give delegates the opportunity to network and share best practice.

The conference is hosted by the DSN Forum – a supportive network which aims to share best practice to improve outcomes for people living with diabetes and to connect diabetes specialist nurses across the UK.
