Diabetes experts invited to Royal Society of Medicine event

Healthcare professionals with an interest in diabetes are being invited to attend an event looking at the latest updates in endocrinology and diabetes in 2024.

The event will highlight what has been recently shown to influence practice and how this can change management, with frequent panel discussions throughout the event enabling tricky issues and practical points to be explored.

In addition, participants will learn from specialists about new publications, examine data from clinical trials and basic science and their effect on current management, and gain an update on treatment strategies.

Entitled ‘What’s new in Diabetes and Endocrinology?’, the event will take place on Monday, November 4, between 9am and 5pm at the Royal Society of Medicine’s headquarters in London.

By the end of the meeting, attendees will:

·       Know about recent important publications lecture/presentation

·       Update your knowledge on management of pregnancy and fertility challenges associated with endocrine disorders

·       Learn about new treatments available in metabolic disease

·       Gain up-to-date knowledge on treatment of common endocrine conditions such as thyroid, pituitary disease, diabetes mellitus and osteoporosis.

This meeting is an association with the Society for Endocrinology (SfE) and the Association of British Clinical Diabetologists (ABCD).
