New glucose-releasing snack launched to reduce hypos

A new plant-based energy snack which releases glucose into the blood stream for up to five hours has been launched in a bid to help manage hypoglycaemia.

Developed by expert carbohydrate engineers at D&H Food and Nutrition, DexSteady® wheat and wholewheat bites are carefully designed for slow digestion, ensuring a sustained supply of dextrose (glucose) to the bloodstream long after consumption.
